“Petface’s client base is driven by an emphasis on design, and they expect more from us than our competitors” says Adam Bowler head of Bird development. Adam’s experience within the trade now driven by Petface’s shared passion for design has been the platform for Adam to develop Petface’s new and exciting “Wild Bird Range”
The eighty new product lines are dominated by the ‘Loktop’ Bird feeders that “generated fantastic feedback during their initial trials and now we’re expecting the same enthusiasm from our customers”
“We recognise this is an enormous market, supplied by some large and established players so we didn’t want to rush in” we had to get this right!
“Our philosophy is to make ‘Wild Bird’ more appealing; not only for the experienced consumer, but also for the new younger market who already have pets but want to understand more about bird feeding and have the budget. We’ve taken a “fresh look” approach to Bird that we believe is interesting, easy for consumers to navigate, and looks incredible when merchandised, it really “stands out” particularly on our Petface stands.
At GLEE 2015 Petface unveiled an exciting, dynamic, and interactive point of sale that was not to be missed. It’s complete range of Loktop’s and Squirrel Proof Feeders, Feeding Stations, Bird Baths and Nest Boxes along with their own blended Bird Feeds and Suets was launched as a whole range for the first time. The Glee Daily News announced “The Wild Bird Range was an instant hit” when writing about the stand this week!
Its unique and innovative ‘Loktop Mealworm Feeder’ was awarded Pet and Wildlife Product of The Year, an accolade deservedly won by a team dedicated to transform the industry and bring great design to the garden and the joy of bird feeding.
